Move in parking is restricted. Commercial moving vans or any vehicle more than 14 feet long, or with more than two axles, must park on the street. These vehicles are expressly prohibited from parking on University property. Commercial trucks with a logo and/or longer than 22 feet are prohibited from parking overnight on city streets and may be cited.
If you wish to reserve a spot on the street to park your moving van or truck, you might be able to do so by calling Los Angeles Department of Transportation at (213) 485-2298. LADOT must be reached 5 working days prior to your desired move in date. You must call between 8 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. There is a non-refundable fee associated with a Reserving Temporary Street Parking Restriction Sign
When proper vehicle registration is provided, residents assigned parking will receive space numbers, hangtags, and gate cards upon move in. Residents must park only in assigned garage or parking space or risk being towed at their expense. Do not park in anyone else's space, garage, or in front of a garage. Please observe all parking signs when parking on the street or in the visitor area.
