Housing is available for students enrolled in UCLA Summer Sessions courses or programs.

Summer 2026 Housing Overview

• Housing will be offered in Olympic Hall Deluxe Triple rooms
• A 14 Regular meal plan is required
• You will not be asked to select building or room type preferences
• Contract rates depend on session length

Eligibility

• Students enrolled in Summer Sessions courses or participating in a Summer Sessions program
• Must be 17 or older as of June 21, 2026

Before You Apply

• Students attending UCLA for the summer only can access the Housing Portal to submit an application 1 business day after enrolling in a summer course or program.
• After enrolling, log in to MyUCLA and verify a gender identity is listed on your account. This is required to receive a housing assignment. Housing Services will receive your updated gender identity within 2 business days.

Application Timeline

• The application opens in April
• Housing offers begin by early May and continue on a rolling basis

Housing Session Dates

Housing sessions align with most summer session programs. Check-in begins at 9:00 a.m. on the move-in date, and check-out must be completed by 5:00 p.m. on the move-out date. 

Not sure which housing session to select?
Choose the housing session that covers all of the dates you need to stay on campus. If you’re enrolled in back-to-back summer sessions or your program dates don’t align exactly with the housing sessions above, select the session that fully encompasses your stay.

Preparing for Move-In

You will receive an email once your summer assignment has been finalized. You can review arrival and check-in information on the Summer Undergraduate Housing Move-In website.

Summer Housing Charges

All summer housing charges will be posted to BruinBill in the timeline noted on the Application Status page of your housing application. Refer to your housing contract for all associated due dates. For information on how to access BruinBill, visit Making a Payment.
