Overview of transportation options from UAS and parking on campus.

Mass Transit

All University Apartments are close to metropolitan bus lines that run to the UCLA campus and to surrounding areas and attractions. In addition, a UCLA shuttle bus runs directly from the Venice/Barry and Keystone/Mentone apartments to campus. The shuttle operates weekdays from 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. during the academic year only.

Parking

Students with their own cars can park on campus with a permit. Quarterly permits for commuter students are $189 for 2008/09. Visit the UCLA Transportation Services website or call Parking and Commuter Services at (310) 825-9871 for application deadlines and additional information.

Other Options

Students can choose other ways to get to and from campus, including vanpools, carpools, and bicycles. For more information, ask for the UCLA Commuter’s Guide. For ridesharing assistance visit UCLA Transportation Services website or call the Commuter Assistance Ridesharing (CAR) office at (310) 794-RIDE.
