How to Apply for Summer Housing
Students interested in summer housing must first complete the online summer housing application in order to select the desired session, room type, meal plan, and other available options.
Once the application is processed by the Housing office, the charge for the selected summer contract will be posted to the student’s BruinBill account. A notification email will be sent to the student once the charge has been posted to BruinBill and will include the payment due date. Failure to pay by the stated due date will result in the student's summer housing offer being canceled. Please refer to the Walk-through PDF document below for complete details of the application process.

If a student is enrolled in a short term Summer Institute that is less than 6 weeks, please check the Summer Institutes website to see housing options for that program. Use the Summer Housing application on this page only if the Institute program does not offer housing.
Students utilizing the TravelEx payment option on BruinBill may request a payment due date extension to allow extra time for an overseas bank transaction. Please send an email via Ask Housing and a Housing Services representative will arrange a new due date.
