Housing Services would like to see the creative and fun ways students decorate, organize, and/or interact with/in their rooms. To participate, submit a photo/photo compilation of your room. Photos may include residents. Winners will be re-posted on the Housing Services social media web pages.
No Purchase Necessary to Enter or Win. Entering More Than Once Will Not Improve Your Chances of Winning.
$75.00; loaded on to the Bruincard of each resident in each winning room
There is a limit of one entry per person/room/apartment for the duration of the contest period.
Multiple entries from any one person, room, or email address will void all but the initial entry.
To enter, the following steps must be completed:
- Entries must be submitted via direct message on the Housing Services Facebook page (www.facebook.com/UCLAHousingServices). Entries must be sent as attachments.
- The following information must be given for all residents of the entering room in the submission message:

- All tenants in each winning room will be required to sign a Photo Release Form, which will be provided upon selection. This form will need to be signed and returned to Housing Services by 4:00 p.m. on March 15, 2013 to avoid disqualification.
Any submissions deemed inappropriate will be forwarded to the Office of Residential Life (ORL) for further review and discipline.
Housing Services is not responsible for failures or malfunctions of email or websites; lost entries or transmissions; interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections; miscommunications, failed computer hardware or software or other technical failures; garbled, misrouted or scrambled transmissions; incomplete entries or communications; or other errors or problems of any kind whether mechanical, human, electronic or otherwise. Housing Services reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to void any and all entries of an entrant whom Housing Services believes has attempted to tamper with or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of this sweepstakes. Use of any device to automate entry is prohibited.
Housing Services will begin accepting entries March 4, 2013 and will close the contest March 11, 2013. No further entries will be eligible after the date of closure.
The top 5 entries will be eligible for the prize. Winners will be selected by a panel of Housing Services staff members at the closing of the survey among all eligible entries received. Winners will be notified via email by Housing Services.
Contest open to all undergraduate Housing Services residents. All residents within a room/apartment must provide consent to be entered in to the contest. Consent must be submitted in the form of the Photo Release Form which will be provided upon selection.
By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and that the decisions of the judges will be binding and final in all respects; and that Housing Services shall have the right and permission to use winner's name and photograph for advertising, promotional and/or any other purpose in any media without additional compensation unless prohibited by law, as understood in the Photo Release Form.
Prize winners must sign and return Housing Services’ Photo Release Form (have “Phrase Photo Release Form” link to the form). Non-compliance with the foregoing or return of prize notification/documentation as non-deliverable may result in disqualification and an alternate winner being selected. If identity of winner is disputed based on the email address submitted, prize will be awarded to the person identified as the authorized account holder of the email address at the time entry is submitted as determined by Housing Services in its sole discretion.
No substitutions or transfers of prize, except by Housing Services (due to prize unavailability) for a prize of equal or greater value selected by Housing Services. By entering, entrants agree that Housing Services, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, contractors, advertising and promotion agencies and their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents are not liable and shall be held harmless by entrant for any claim, action, liability, loss, injury and/or damage to entrant and/or any other person and/or entity, including, without limitation, personal injury and/or death to entrant and/or any other person, and/or damage to personal and/or real property, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use and/or misuse of a prize or participation in this promotion.
If this sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Housing Services which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this sweepstakes, Housing Services reserves the right in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who it believes has tampered with the entry process, and/or to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the sweepstakes (or any portion thereof). In the event of cancellation or termination, Housing Services may, in its sole discretion, select winners from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to the event requiring such cancellation or termination to award prizes. Prizes are awarded "as is" without any warranty or guarantee provided by Housing Services.
