Undergraduate University Apartments 12-month Contracts 2016-2017
In response to students’ increased interest in residing near campus over the summer, UCLA Housing is piloting a 12-month contract term for three of our undergraduate apartment buildings: Glenrock Apartments, Landfair Apartments, and Landfair Vista. Housing contracts for all three buildings will begin on September 18, 2016, and run through September 15, 2017.
Not interested in a 12-month contract? No problem. Just apply for the traditional 9-month academic year term, September 18, 2016 – June 9, 2017. All of our on-campus spaces, as well as five of our undergraduate apartment buildings will continue to operate on these traditional term dates.
If your classification is “Undergraduate Returner,” be sure to apply via MyHousing by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2016. Note: all incoming freshmen have a guarantee of three consecutive years of University-owned housing; incoming transfer students have a one year guarantee. Once your guarantee has been exhausted, your classification updates to “Undergraduate Lottery.” Keep in mind that any roommates you wish to live with would need to be the same classification as you, and you would need to apply for the same term.
Glenrock Apartments, Landfair Apartments, and Landfair Vista together comprise approximately 500 spaces, mostly configured as two-bedroom/four-person apartments. Glenrock and Landfair also have a few one-bedroom/two-person apartments, and Landfair Vista has several apartments configured as two-bedroom/five-person units, as well as a couple of three-bedroom units.
