Mandatory Residence Hall Permit Audit
Residence Hall Students:
Parking Services will provide a 1-day service during Move In at Covel Commons on Saturday, September 22, 2012 from Noon to 5:00 pm for residents who bring in the documentation noted below.
All residence hall applicants who are offered parking based on their employment/paid internship information are subject to a mandatory audit. Residents will need to show a valid driver's license, BruinCard, and proof of monetary compensation prior to receiving their permit. All documents must be local, verifiable, current and continuous. Students must provide one of the following items in order to pick-up a permit:
- Two current pay stubs with employer's information or two company checks cancelled (front and back required). Pay stubs and company checks must be dated within 30 days, if paid weekly or bi-weekly, and within 60 days, if paid monthly.
- UCLA sponsored off campus obligation on Department letterhead with contact information.
- Letter of Intent for future employment on employer letterhead with information about the job, start date, and pay period. A follow-up audit will be conducted during October 2012 to verify employment is valid.
Failure to respond to an audit, submitting falsified information, or the inability to supply sufficient documentation are grounds for immediate cancellation of parking privileges with the Parking Office for 1 year and referral to the Dean of Students.
Permits are also available for pick up at the Parking Office Monday through Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. starting September 4, through October 5, 2012.
