ConditionQuarantine Procedure
Under conditions where isolation is necessary but complete building-wide quarantine is not required (Level 1 or 2)Sick students will be asked to consider going to their permanent residence during recover.
Students choosing to stay on campus instead of going home

Students in Dykstra Hall, Hedrick Hall, Sproul Hall and Rieber Hall will be moved into a study lounge in their building that is setup for quarantine. ADA bathrooms will be designated for sick residents. In halls without ADA bathrooms, sick residents will continue to use community bathrooms. Sanitization of those bathrooms will be intensified and PPE will be given to housekeeping staff. Healthy students will be encouraged to use bathrooms in other wings or on other floors.

Students in suite-style residence halls will receive the option of (1) moving to a Study Lounge in a near-by high rise or (2) remain in their own room. If sick students choose to stay in their own room, roommates will be given the option for temporary housing in a nearby room (as available) until the sick student recovers.

Under conditions of building-wide or where large scale quarantine is required (only Level 3)If the severity of conditions requires larger scale quarantine or greater isolation, buildings or building sections will be identified for quarantine based on the occupancy at that time. Any unoccupied buildings, such as those receiving renovations, that have habitable conditions (i.e. have a Certificate of Operation) will be used first. Sick residents will be moved to these locations and healthy students, if any, will be moved to other buildings.  If a larger surge space more accessible to medical services is required, the Wooden Center basketball courts or Ackerman Student Union will be considered.  These two locations are proximate to the Arthur Ashe Student Health & Wellness Center and can be outfitted with Red Cross cots for sick residents.
