KOSHER & HALAL DINING OPTIONS

We are pleased to offer Kosher and Halal dining options during the academic year.  Due to a great number of student inquiries and requests, Residential Life and Dining Services began working together to develop these meal options in 2012. Underlying much of the student input was a desire for students of all religious beliefs to be able to dine with fellow Bruins regardless of dietary needs.

The Kosher and Halal dining options are available exclusively at Covel Residential Restaurant, Mezze Bar station. During lunch and dinner, guests can select from prepackaged meal options that meet Kosher or Halal requirements. The Dining team members will heat these quality frozen entrées upon request. Meals are available seven days a week and are for dine-in only.

Pre-ordering Kosher and Halal meals online is also available during the regular academic year. Orders placed by midnight will be ready when you arrive the following day. You may still request an on-the-spot entrée in person, but it may take additional time to heat.

  • Honey Glazed Tofu Steak with Brown Rice & Sautéed Spinach
  • Vegan Keftas made with Garbonzo Beans, Brown Rice and Lentil
  • Gluten-Free Pasta and Marinara Sauce
  • Stir-fried Teriyaki Tofu with Peppers and Onions, served with Rice.
